Very satisfied with this versitile chair for my 92 year old invalid Dad's helper to get him where he needs to go. With bucket removed, it rolls over/above a standard toilet; great for shower; bonus is its good, with a wheelchair-type cushion on seat, for haircuts. Good rotating wheels with locks on back wheels; narrow to fit through doorways (including small shower); easy to put together or take apart(pipe frame snaps together); lightweight aluminum won't rust. The chair is not adjustable height-wise. My elderly father is 5'11" (weighs 190lbs.)and he can just barely hit the seat. This would not be too big a problem if the wheel brakes worked. They are totally useless. The nylon wheels slide on every floor surface in our house -shag carpet, low carpet, wood floor and linoleum!!! The only time they don't work is going over even very low floor strips in doorways! We've already had a near accident and now understand that it must be against a wall, in a corner, and held in place by two strong people if you don't want it to move. Sadly, I love its seat construction and the back design. They were the reasons I purchased this chair and these parts of the chair are wonderful ! 'Cruising hardware stores for some kind of wheel replacement!!!!
