Editorial Reviews

The second single taken from the 2004 album 'That's What I'm Talking About', penned by none other than Bryan Adams. The title track is b/w three non-LP tracks, a cover of Jimmy Barnes' 'Working Class Man' (made famous (again) when Shannon performed it on

5.0 out of 5 stars Great DRIVE video and terrific single!, March 31, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Drive (Audio CD)
If you get a chance see the video for this single, it is a must.

Set in Hay (where Mad Max was set) this clip uses a similar black Mad Max car which breaks down in the middle of Nowhere, Australia, and is repaired by an outback mechanic, Shannon Noll, while the couple who arrived at the petrol station in the car have a rip-roaring fight and the girl stomps off, ending the relationship.

She ends up in the car with Shannon, chased by the guy who flags down a big truck and they have a road duel -- really great fun where Shannon gets to do all his own driving stunts.

This is a great action clip with humour, cheeky Aussie fun, and the beginnings of a cute on-screen 'romance'.

It also appears to be the beginning of a series of movie clips with Shannon Noll playing the outback Aussie mechanic who will have the brunette as his screen 'love interest'.

Great idea -- and many people think this is gonna win video clip awards for ingenuity.

Can't wait to see what happens in the next one, now. Or which single they choose to follow.

DRIVE is an excellent rock track written by Bryan Adams for Shannon's album! It has really catchy lyrics that just up and grab you, and won't let go.

Another Noll single going straight into Number 1.

Brilliant. Keep on truckin', man.
