5.0 out of 5 stars Best Book Ever!!!!!, June 9, 2009
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Hard Drive to Short (Matt Christopher Sports Classics) (Paperback)
Sandy was a kid who loved baseball. But at times it seemed as though he liked Rod and his motorbike more. He also has to leave games early to take care of his sisters. I liked the book and it is full of details about baseball. I also play baseball myself. My favorite part of the book was when Sandy told his coach why he has to leave games early. You guys should all read this book!!!!

I checked this book out from my school library back in the late 70's (the original edition) and it became my favorite book. I loved it because I was left-handed, and this book was something I could really relate to. I probably read it 50 times.

Sandy is a boy who plays baseball for the Spacemen and I think he is really good at short stop.Sandy gets nervous around Rex the dog. The Spacemen are a good team. I think it is a very good book and the ending is cool.
