It doesn't leak, but drinking coffee out of this mug is like drinking coffee out of an eyedropper.

In this "perfect" world, I was chasing after the "perfect" travel coffee mug. Did I find it ? almost, but not really as accepted the idea a long time ago that "perfection" is very subjective anyways. The construction is robust. Nice design and holds coffee warm for some time. The main flaw I found was this difficult cover to put on/remove. It is definitely spill proof if properly closed but there are no real "mechanism" to ensure that it is properly closed... spilled coffee a couple of times for not checking that the lid was properly screwed on. So : 1) does what it is intended for but 2) be attentive/ not in a rush before tossing it around in your car...

I got this mug because it was voted, "Best Mug". It does keep the coffee warm, and is leak proof. The bottom gets water under the little rubber thing and you can't get it out. It retains just enough water under the little rubber thing that makes it very annoying due to the slow leakage.

It doesn't leak, but drinking coffee out of this mug is like drinking coffee out of an eyedropper. I haven't found a way, short of taking of the cap off the mug completely, to be able to drink my coffee.... argh.

UPDATE:
After a bit of frustration I wedged a flathead screwdriver into caps portion where liquid goes through and expanded the amount of space so that more liquid would flow through the cap.... It seems to have worked well, and I'm going to upgrade my 1 star rating to 4 now.

I do like this coffee mug for the fact that the coffee stays warm for a long time in the closed position, and it doesn't leak at all. It is very durable, and it has a nice clean look. However, I don't like how slow the coffee comes out. I sometimes like to get a big swig, but cannot without tipping the mug back for a good 5-8 seconds (could be dangerous while driving). The mug is not intended for the dishwasher either. If you like sipping coffee, then this is the travel mug for you. Starbucks sells a really nice (leak-proof) stainless travel mug that I like better, and it's dishwasher safe.

- Cheers!

I've had this mug for a year now & I've stopped using all my others. It's not perfect, but it's the best I've found in a 20 0z travel mug. You can't overfill it, or it will leak. Occasionally it will form a vacuum & I have to take the top off & replace it. As far as the no dishwasher goes I am lazy & I don't do dishes! I have put this mug in the dishwasher nearly every day for a year & it still works! The cap may be a little dull, but it's clean & still doesn't spill!!

The Wall Street Journal must like their coffee cold.

Yes- it doesn't spill- if thats what you are looking for.

I have yet to find a mug to keep coffee as hot as my miGo 18 oz mug I bought five years ago. Unfortunately, the handle broke off. From my understanding, miGo doesn't make steel mugs anymore. Too bad. Until I find something that keeps coffee as hot, I need to keep my miGo with no handle.

Going to make it short and sweet. You can't drink out of the mug. . it dribbles. It is VERY leak proof!!! Email to the company in trying to resolve the issue has not generated any response. I wish they would have a solution for the problem, but evidently they don't. This is evidently more of a common problem than the exception. Feel like I wasted my money and have to throw it away. I wish they would stop selling this inadequate product and you should remove it from your list of items.
