It doesn't mention it, but this particular guide is for the xBox 360. Other than that, it is very thorough and informative.

Incredibly detailed, excellent guide, the whole game is explained in deep detail, every car, every challenge, every extra, it covers every aspect of the game! and includes excellent tips.
And the map included is awesome, a great help to locate everything in the game, it's wort every cent!

If your the type of person that doesn't like to waste your money or time then you need this guide. The pull out map alone is worth the money. The map just pointing out all those hidden races and challenges why not submit and get the guide you need it. Another item I'd classify worth every penny! If your stuck or tired of looking invest in this guide you'll thank yourself in the end.

the only thing could be better is the paper. it is not the glossy paper you see in the GT4 book. just the one like Oblivion book. printing quality is just what you can expect on that paper. the map is printed on thick semi-gloss paper, plain designed, but marked every single event. good to have it.

The book does have tips on how to complete the 220 ai events and it did help get me all the way to Solid-Crown Champion status, but it really has nothing about how to text or voice communicate with other online players. Or things like what the green and red flashing numbered lights on the GPS indicate? I still haven't a clue there? These are really "need to know issues" and they don't mention a thing about them in the book. On the other hand it does have a large fold-out map that shows everything on the island which is kind of a Holy Grail if you buy it prior to playing the game. Unfortunately I had already covered the entire 1000 mile road network before I bought the book so it was kind of useless to me. I guess the bottom line here is the book will help you complete all the races but it won't help you figure out how to fully interact with others playing online.
