Book Description

This is a horror novel intended for ages 18 and older.
The story revolves around the college romance of Jed and Patty. Another case of "misery seeks company." Both are fighting personal demons; both have been losing for a long time. But together, they somehow find the love and intimacy they never thought they would, or deserved. But then one night changes everything. And only one is left. To pick up the pieces and find a way to make it through another day of hell. Lost love can haunt lives. The story takes place in the 1980s. There is social commentary throughout, along with moments of intimacy and some rough language.

This book draws you in from the very beginning, and holds its readers through each and every page. Compelling characters, with an intense storyline. Kudos to Jason Jauron on a book well done. I look forward to many more of his books in the future. "King of Pain" looks to be as intriguing.

Very good book, definite page turner. Was very shocked about it, actually. The realistic story line was very relatable, but not enough to be predictable

5.0 out of 5 stars This book was like going camping... Intense August 18, 2012

I did not know what to expect when I downloaded Driven to Tears. Within the first 20 pages I was sucked into the plot and characters. The raw human emotion and the intensity of the flashbacks made the book a real page turner. I had to force myself to put it down each night. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a horror/psychological take on the fragile human condition.

I didn't find this book entertaining at all. It was very dark and depressing, and the ending was anticlimactic. The main character was kind of pathetic.

Bad. Really bad. The writing is juvenile, the storyline is copycat.

Jason Jauron is a name that all book enthusiasts will know very soon. He captures your interest from the first words of "Driven to Tears" and never let's go. This book is compelling, intoxicating and just a pleasure to read. As an 80's child, this is the kind of book I've been missing. A must have for your collection.
