Cable is dirt cheap from SFPlanet, works just fine with my LG VX8350.
The packaging says it is for chocolate, but never mind, it works with 8350 just fine.

Some gotchas for the verizon subscribers:

o I installed it on vista and windows found the driver from windows update.
o However, the SD memory wont show up as a removeable disk in explorer.
o You need to get the VCAST music manager. Music manager can be downloaded from verizonwireless.com for free (dont worry if it says $19.99, that is only if you buy headphones, cable, etc.)

o VCAST music manager also installs the right driver for vista.
o You can then sync music using the music manager. Nothing else (verizon sucks!)

The attached CD from LG contains many cool stuff like ringtones, pictures, contacts sync, etc. But they wont work with verizon phone. They only work with the GSM model. Verizon sucks again!

I have the enV9900 with Verizon. Any one that has Verizon as their carrier know that it is almost impossible to us third party software to get ring tones or wallpaper. I purchased ringtone software prior to this one from another company that stated it was compatible with Verizon. I was never able to get it to work and I paid twice the price and it did not come with a cable. I loaded the Super CD last night and within 15 min I had synced my phone with Outlook, added 4 new ringtones and transferred pictures to my phone. The software is really easy to use.

I bought mine from SF Planet for pittance. Shipping was quick and I got it, securely packaged in a bubblewrap envelope, two business days after I bought it.

The cable works just as advertised with my LG VX8350. I've been able to use VCast Music Manager, BitPim, and Windows Explorer in Vista (after enabling the USB Mass Storage mode in the phone's Tools menu) to access the data contained in the phone. All three methods have their uses:

- VCast Music Manager for converting MP3s when needed and syncing playlists;
- BitPim for easily entering contact information on the computer and then syncing it with the phone;
- Windows Explorer to move images and wallpapers and movie clips back and forth from and to the computer.

The only downside, and this is nothing against the cable but rather a "functionality" of the phone, is the slow transfer speed. Vista reports that average transfer throughput is around 350-400KB per second. I'm used to seeing 8-15MB per second download speed with my flash cards for digital cameras, so this was a bit of a shocker. But this is nothing against the cable. I just mentioned it for others' benefit.
