Dawn Richardson is a professor at Simpson University in Redding, California. She has three Master's degrees: Religion, Counseling, and Middle Eastern Cultures and Religions. She lived in Israel and Palestine three years. Then she completed two years at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, California. She's madly in love with Jesus and passionate about the Middle East. She also loves austere poetry, outlandish creativity, and evenings full of laughter.

In this book, Dawn Richardson takes you with her on a front row seat of adventure, boldness and buckets of Love. Her love for God, His Creation and His People shines through,time and time again. I read this book over a weekend and was so blessed! It moved my heart and feet to action. It reminded me that nothing is impossible with God. Whatever your heart is being called to - this book will help you get there by reminding you of the confident boldness that comes with walking hand and hand with the one who knows and created your heart. This is a book I will read over and over.

Rarely, are there books about true-life experiences which make the reader not only wish she were friends with the author, but feel like she truly is. "Driving Through Walls" is one of them. I read this book in three days, and it was intense! It takes you on a journey of love, discovery, and hope, as Dawn talks frankly about her trips around the globe following Holy Spirit around. The way she writes, it is as though the world is a giant playground and Jesus is the crazy coach, daring you to go across the monkey bars with one arm, backwards and blindfolded. Each chapter is rich with language. Her metaphors are just straight-up supernatural, using phrases that literally make me taste the love of Jesus. I never knew His love could have tangible flavors? "Driving Through Walls" is an exciting sensory overload in which Dawn describes how her life in love Jesus has been a superrad, scavenger hunt laden with overflowing pots of spiritual gold! It made me want to sell everything and ask if there was room for one more? A Highly entertaining read that is definitely recommended!

This book will not only inspire you to follow God to the ends of the earth, but into heaven itself!! It is honest, full of humor and adventure, and an authentic view into a life touched by the finger prints of the Creator. My favorite parts were watching the characters get into messes, and then recieving revelation about life and love as they go from one country to the next!! It was such an encouraging read. Dreams of missionary adventures were ignited! and hope imparted, as you see God come through BIG over and over again. As a girl who struggled with depression, I loved the transparent way the author handles her own battles as a child. You can feel the pain and the joy of her journey (and supernatural amazment!!) as she BELIEVES her Faith in Christ ALWAYS works!! This is a very clear look into the life of an American missionary growing and learning who she is in Christ, and getting BRIGHTER and BRIGHTER as she walks along! I highly recommend this book!! "Driving Through Walls" is a testimony of the AWESOME SUPERNATURAL WONDERS this generation is called to. No matter what road the characters take, the Lord shows Himself more splendid then they expected! This book will drive you step by step into a deeper knowledge of the God of miracles!! enjoy :)
