Comment: This book has already been loved by someone else. It MIGHT have some wear and tear on the edges, have some markings in it, or be an ex-library book. Over-all it is still a good book at a great price! (if it is supposed to contain a CD or access code, that may be missing)

What a delightful book to take with you when you are driving I-70. I used to think going west on I-70 was so boring. Not anymore! This book tells you something about almost every exit. Keep your eyes on the road but let your passenger read passages from this book as you ride along. You will have your own private tour guide!

Not what I expected. Misses a lot of things right by the highway and describes a lot of things that you have to get off of the highway to see. Not what the description implies. I would recommend you save your money and borrow it from the library.

Format: Paperback
We loved this book on our drive to and from Colorado. There were a few things that could be updated (like nothing in the book on the new windmills), and I would really love to have an audio version of the book since there's no way a driver could use this, but it's filled with interesting stories. It even has a west-bound section and an east-bound section, so you can read some different things each way. We learned a lot about the history of Kansas. This book kept our drive across Kansas entertaining, and then we didn't quite know what to do with ourselves once we crossed into Colorado, other than searching for mountains (mile 371 for Pikes Peak, and mile 348 for Longs Peak).
