This stove is not meant for a mobile home. I put it in anyway because I'm poor and couldn't afford anything else. The first look at it in person I was a little scepticle because it looked a little small. I was commited to buying it from True Value and had waited a week for it too be delivered. True Value put it in the pick-up truck at the store and I never had any shipping charge. Me and a friend got it up the stairs and right in the front door with the help of a dollie. That night I had my Martin fireplace out on the front deck, out of my way. This was not an easy task and I certainly did not go by the book. I tore it out with my sawsall. After some cut fingers and alot of cussing I had it out. I braced the chimney with pieces of wood and took out a piece of the triple wall chimney. Then I went too Lowes and got a 6" too 8" connector since I had an 8" chimney already. The instructions for installation says to put a 6 inch male into the top of the stove. I tried that but it seemed a little loose. The female regular black stove pipe actually fit in better. I don't know why this is, but I was happy because it took less parts and I took a few back too Lowes for a refund. The reason I'm babbling is because I couldn't find JACK about this stove on the net. If you are putting this in from scratch, then I suggest the good stainless chimney, which will cost you as much as the stove itself. If you are taking a smoky junker out like I did (with a triple wall chimney. All I needed was the 6 too 8 inch adapter and then I got a beauty ring for 8 inch, which didn't fit, so I cut it and put the cut in the back. This made it look OK and plugged up the top outter pipe so my heat stays in. Thats it. This thing without cranking it up at all-keeps my mobile home at 72-75 easily. It does have a spot too hook up a fresh air intake, but the hole is not drilled completly through. THIS was one thing I was wondering about. I did not attach the fresh air nor drill for it. This is recommended for mobile homes. I figure I can crack a window if I really want too crank it up. If your place is not paid for and you put this in and burn down your trailer--the insurance company will call you an idiot and not pay. I still have not stoked it like I could and had my whole place at mid 70's when it was 23 outside. I slept 8 hours and got up to a house that was getting cold and the stove had cooled enough for me too get my tin bucket and scoop out the ash a little but keep some red in enough where I could throw in some small pieces of wood and get things going real easy again. After winter is over I'm going too pull this out and put in some nice tile on the floor and wall. Right now it looks crummy but it will have paid for itself by spring. You may set off your fire alarm when you first start out, but they will stink a bit until the paint cures-about 4 hours. I didn't think it was as bad as the fireplace on a normal day. I am completely happy with this stove. Don't let the size fool you, this thing holds alot. And good size pieces of wood too. I know nothing about wood stoves-i'm just a hillbilly with lotsa tools. I did notice the real good stainless steel pipe seems too be a little bigger than the regular black stove pipe. So the directions for the stove I think are for the good stuff. The thing in my pics on top of the stove is a huge dutch oven. I think I'm going too get a cast iron teakettle for the top for humidity. My kettle has legs so it won't boil. ANYWAY--this is an excellent stove for the price. Hope I covered some things that people may want too know. I couldn't find anything about this stove but the manual and demensions.

I wanted to wait until I had used this stove at least one season before reviewing. It is heating a cabin of approx. 700sq. ft. and it is the perfect article. I have a high ceiling and alot of volume to heat which it does perfectly with little wood. If you need a quality stove for a small to medium application I would recommend this stove, and manufacturer. Priced very well.
