Birds may rest comfortably on the six individual perches at the reinforced seed ports. The clear, U.V. stabilized, polycarbonate feeder tube keeps the seed level visible at all times and is perfect for holding 2.25 pounds of seed. The cap, base, perches, and feeding ports feature a rich, green finish. An internal seed baffle design directs seed to the ports so that the feeder empties completely without leaving a dirty residue. Simply slide the die-cast metal cap up the hanger for quick, convenient cleaning and filling. The birds are very pleased with the Droll Yankees 23" Bird Feeder. They have six spots to perch and eat the seed with ease.

The clear container makes it easy to know when it is time to add more seed. And the design makes it very easy to refill. Plus with its cylinderal shape you do not have to worry about the birds getting sick from fecal matter.

An excellent prduct... one in which I would highly recommend.

have owned this feeder for 3 years and came back to buy another for my elderly mom. Seed stays dry, and feeder attracts the smaller birds like goldfinches. It's a great size for holding mixed seed...I fill mine with a 50/50 mix of mixed seed and the more expensive thistle seed and the birds really go for this mix. Easy to fill, and the plastic tube has not yet discolored or darkened, which the less expensive tube feeders will do.
