pretty good,

I received this album yesterday and have played 3 times through so far !
Very interesting sound scape and really original sounding if you compare with other electronica band. Their diversity and catchiness stand out. If you are looking for something new and hibrid thing in Trip-Hop or Electronica genre, you will definitely be satisfied with "Drop".

Cool Sounds,

I caught these guys at a show in San Francisco a few months ago and was really blown away. So I bought their cd and have been rocking it in my car ever since - it gives my subs a workout!
I have to say that the album is even cooler than their live show. Each track has lots of insteresting layers going on, and their singer's voice just takes me places. My favorite thing is that there's a good balance of vocal and instrumental tracks. I'm a jazz musician and I can tell that they are experts on all of their instruments. But what keeps me playing it are the grooves - funky bass lines and the drummer sounds like a machine!!!

This Album is deffinately a trip and enjoyable from begining to end with the exception of 1 song. Frankly even that is a good song, just not quite my taste as much as the rest of the album.

Drop- a soulful electronica album,

Beatropolis is a new live electronica band that I really like. Their influences seem more from hiphop, jazz and world then just the straight ahead trance music of other live electronic bands. The vocals are ethereal and really diverse. The players create a really tight and unique sound. On Drop they blend just the right amount of chill and rock out music.
