I have never been a fan of 15 artists singing on the same rhythm which is a common activity in Jamaican dancehall. I am not saying i dont like the songs but i would never buy the cd.

Well this cd changed my mind. This is perhaps one of the best cds i have heard in years. Every song is a hit. I play it at work and everybody went and bought it.

Jah Cure's longing for is the star here but there are several other blazing cuts. My favorite is Jeffrey Star Im Sorry and Gentleman's Intoxication. Sizzla and Maxi Priest's effort are excellent as well as Morgan's heritage.

Get up and go buy and play it. You will love it.

This music compilation is sign of pure roots genius. The selection features some of the better singers blessing the culturally rich shores of Jamaica. I could not find any rating high enough to give this CD so I settled for the 5(Which is the highest). I listen to the CD everyday. Maxi Priest is at his best on this track; Sizzla inspires me with his anthem "You got to be strong", Luciano as always comes through with lyrics of consciousness and peaceful delivery. I have never heard of Jah-Cure until I heard this CD, and I must admit that this is the signature son fron the Album "Longing For". I wished that Beres Hammond had done a song as well as Tryone Taylor.

True respect to my brothers and sisters who brought consciousness to this album.

This is Phil,...believe it or not, just like the other post I heard this cd while I was down in jamaica, Mo Bay ..and I just couldnt get it out my head
...I cry/footprints is my favorite, the chorus is just wonderful!!

after a little searching through google, I found the cd,. .im so pumped..Im ordering it now, CDnow-amazon is great..:)

The other songs are good also, including I believe and longing for, those are the best (and footprints/I cry of course)

After i heard it one the radio i hunted down the cd i couldnt get it out of my head

I heard this CD while vacationing in Jamaica. I didn't stop until I found out the name/artists. I absolutely loved it! I advise any true reggae fan to add this CD to their portfolio.
