Drop Shipping For Sellers: A Complete Guide To Making Money On eBay Without The Risk

I gave this book one star because it is definitely not worth purchasing, since most of the information in it can easily be found online, and at 100 pages it is definitely not worth price! Here are the major faults:

1) Does not tell you how to find drop shipping companies.
I purchased this book with the hopes of learning how to find drop shipping companies, but all this author does is point readers to common sense web sites and databases to research BASIC COMPANIES and INDUSTRIES. These sites, including Hoovers and the Canadian and U.S. Chambers or Commerce, allow you to research companies but do not provide information on how to find drop shipping companies.

2) Author wants you to go to his site and purchase ANOTHER BOOK for a listing of drop shipping companies!
So instead of being an actual "complete guide" the end of this book becomes a sales pitch telling readers to go to his site and buy another book that will provide information on finding drop shipping companies. Why didn't he just combine this book with that one?? Seems like a scam to me.

3) Most of the information is simple common sense.
There is some information on the pros and cons of drop shipping and also on selling items on ebay. However, your money is better spent on buying a GOOD QUALITY comprehensive book about selling items on eBay rather than this. There are better books on eBay selling that cost just as much or even less.

4) The information is more geared towards Canadian readers.
Since the author is Canadian, there is not a whole lot of information for U.S. sellers. Being from the U.S., I did not feel like this book was that relevant for me which was really disappointing.

I really hate to give anyone one star, but I feel very compelled to save others from wasting their money and time on this book. I also question the validity of the other 4 and 5 star reviews. I returned my copy the very next day.

This is essentially a sale's pitch for his other book, which you have to buy separably. Don't waste your time or money. There are better books out there. I'm pretty sure that the 5 star reviews must be shills because this book is horrible.

I can't believe I paid for this book!!

No even close to a complete guide. Its mostly filled with fluff pages, over and over again.

Not much more about drop-shipping than you can find on Wikipedia. Seriously.

Major disappointment.

I hate to be so negative about a book, but really there's not much in it, and it really annoyed me that I paid for it. Perhaps it would be useful to a person who has never heard of drop-shipping.

So -- basically what I'm trying to say is that I think this book is a waste of money and my advice would be to do yourself a big favor and spend it on something else.

Better books to get would probably be How and Where to Locate the Merchandise to Sell on eBay: Insider Information You Need to Know from the Experts Who Do It Every Day or eBay 101: Selling on eBay For Part-time or Full-time Income, Beginner to PowerSeller in 90 Days. While these two books are geared towards eBay sellers, they also contain some useful info about drop-shipping (that applied to all types of sellers).

Very excellent and informative book! Well written, with alot of important information that I needed to know. I highly recommend this book!

Excellent Book! Small on size but big on value! It covers much more than just drop shipping. It is a must-read for anyone considering selling online or using one of those drop shipping or online mall services which charge a membership or set-up fee. No seller should be without this book because it will most likely save them a great deal of time, money and frustration.

Great information, has really given me some direction in making the decision to start a drop ship business
