I saw him open for Regina Spektor sometime last year (I think?) and got this album at the show. He showed up alone, with an acoustic guitar, his "band" couldn't make the trip, so played with an ipod. Regina must love him, because they played again together at the last show.

Really great, not sure why he's not more mainstream. Anyway, vibrant songs, lots of energy, good lyrics, good all-around rock and roll... and I don't have any idea how to write a music review.

I bought it right at the Regina Spektor concert only a few days ago. He even signed it, and he's incredibly charming in person. He does amazing things with the guitar, and frankly this CD doesn't do this live act justice. But I have been listening to the CD for 5 hours straight, so it's still pretty good. His style is a lot more mainstream than Regina's and he obviously enjoys it. It's good easy listening music, and it sets the tone nicely. And if it helps, his music really makes me want to write this review. Which in itself is strange because I hate writing. I do like puppies.
