5.0 out of 5 stars BSB - Best Band Ever
Many a time I wait for the next BSB single to come out. And man, when Drowning came on MTV for the first time the other day I almost choked and fell off the chair! I wasn't expecting them to bring out another single so soon! This song is the best they've brought out in a while! It's a pity it's not on the Black & Blue Album, oh, well, now it's just another excuse to...

This would be a good song if it wasn't total rip on "All or Nothing" by O-Town. Listen to the intros of both songs. Notice anything. Yup, the BSB has the same intro as O-Town only in a different key. Then, as you listen, you can probably notice where you could fit in the words of "All or Nothing" where the lyrics of "Drowning" are being sung.

Sure, it has great...

I'm a massive 'more-than-fan' person who loves the music the Backstreet Boys give to the world!Really, I love them all over again!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best BSB song yet!, October 28, 2001

I have to admit that I'm a huge Backstreet Boys fan. Also, I keep switching my favorite BSB song all the time or at least whenever a new BSB single comes out. First, my favorite BSB song was "As Long As You Love Me". Next, it was "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)". After that, it was "I Want It That Way", and THEN it was "Shape Of My Heart". And now, it's definitely gotta be this song, "Drowning". I think "Drowning" is an amazing, sure-to-be classic Pop song. This is what Pop music should be! It sounds kinda like "I Want It That Way", but it's fresh and new and different. It's got a very R&B/Pop feel. And all of the guys sing in this song - including Howie D. and Kevin! Brian sings the first verse, as usual. Then Howie D. sings his solo. After Howie D. comes AJ's solo, then Nick's, and finally Kevin's solo. I already know the lyrics by heart and I don't even have them written down! This song is already climbing way up the Pop charts even though it's only been out on the radio for a few weeks now. I don't know the different tracks that are on this actual CD yet because I don't have it, so I am just reviewing on the song itself. "Drowning" is an awesome song and this CD-Single is a must! It's so much better than *N SYNC's new single, "Gone". The BSB has amazing vocal and harmoney ability (just listen to their voices on this song!), and they are trying to be original but every other Boy Band is copying them so that's probably why you might not think they are original. I love the Backstreet Boys and I will always be a huge fan of them...I'll be listening to their music for years to come. This CD-Single is great - go buy it! :-)

"Drowning"is a great song, its one of the songs that you dont need to hear it a lot of times to start like it..you will love it from the first time..it makes you cry..you can also sing it to your girlfriend..she will be so happy to hear sth like that..
Its the best song ever believe me.However, the second track is rather nice and the video is not necessery as you can findit in DVD of Greatest Hits.I was so dissapointed not to find the video "Drowning"in the cd-single...

5.0 out of 5 stars Drowning In Your Love, November 1, 2001
This single is most definately one of the best songs I have heard from my boys Backstreet since the November 21, 2000 release of their "Black & Blue" album. May nothing but success come to these five All-American boys!

5.0 out of 5 stars One Of BSB's Best, February 9, 2002

I love this song. Awesome vocals and all 5 get to sing lead which impressed me. It's also avaliable on "Chapter 1" (which I also recommend.) I just wish the US would've gotten a commercial single for this. Anyone who loves ballads will enjoy this. I can't wait until the new BSB album!

Really beautiful, it catches you from the first hearing, just like me :-))). It's been a long time since I've heard something so quickly going under my skin. I guess the Cheiron writers/producers did their best ... again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Backstreet Back ALRIGHTY.....!, January 25, 2002
By A Customer
Ok, ladies and gents backstreet boys come back in the spotlight with "Drowning" which was very well put together and the beat just wants to make you faint. I bought the Greatest Hits album to get the song and I would say was well worth the money. Some songs taken from all their best. The single is good if you want to spend the money to get the video, but worth the money also..Could there be a new album in their future?...I would say "yes" for sure. Let's just keep the hits coming..

Ok,I'm gonna tell you right off the bat, I HATE boy bands. I like Hip hop and rock, not pop. But, this song is great.
This ballad really touched me down deep., it's that good. It's a good song to sing to your girl too. So if you want a little somethin, somethin from her. It's a real good song, and a great ballad. Later - Peace
