Finally a reference guide that weighs less than 20 pounds!
Diagnosed with a number of psychological disorders at a very young age, I have been prescribed medication after medication. I soon found myself wanting to know what it was that I was taking. needed more than this book had to offer
I found this book of limited use because anyone dealing with prescribed medications in the mental health field is also usually dealing with someone taking other medications- for pain, sleep, GI distress, etc. So having a book on only mental health medications has not been that helpful to me. It is worth getting a more comprehensive book.

I have used the full sized PDR along with the Genarics tomb as well, books both very heavy and overly complex for someone uneducated in medicine. Now, PDR: Drug Guide for Mental Health Professionals has alowed me to quickly cross-refrence drug interactions and saves me the time of having to sift through medical jargan to find the information I want to know and can understand. A great buy!
