I purchase this book for my mother, who is studying Pharmaceutics. I took a look at this book and it had some great information and very easy to read and understand. When my mother took this book to class, all her Instructors were very impressed with this book and told her how luck to have because the school is still studying out of an earlier edition, which causes students to purchase more textbooks to cover other drug information that is not included. This book is up to date and include the latest medicines. I am glad I purchase this book for her and whoever purchase this book for personal, school, or career...you will not be disappointed.

The book is exactly what I needed (book version of online Lexicomp), but I didn't like the service. I was notified about the shipment in 1-2 days and provided with a tracking number. However, that number was not in the USPS system for 2 weeks saying that there is no item with such number. I ordered this book 3 weeks in advance and got just in time for my exam. I wouldn't like to go through this again with this seller.

this book is full of information, it is all i bring on rotations as a pharmacy student! and the charts in the back are very convenient...a must have!

The book is great. What makes it better is when the seller ships everything in a timely manner. Plus the book was well packaged so that the corners don't get bent in.

I just finished my first year rotations and this book was amazing. On my Hospital rotation I was able to answer questions my preceptor had about therapy and odd drug regimens before he could look it up on-line. If you've ever used Lexicomp online then you know how great it is. If you don't want to pay for online service this book is an excellent resource and addition to your reference materials. I'm very pleased witht his book and the charts in the back are excellent, it contains algorithms for Antibiotics(Vanc, Gent...), Cardio(PEA...), and many more useful charts and tables that make learning as a student much easier and more organized.

Excellent reference book. The size is considered a "book" not a pocket guide anymore.
