Drug Related is an intriguing, fast-paced journey of mystery and high-powered action. In his third novel, Roy Glenn returns us to the world he created in Is It A Crime, but introduces the reader to a new main character, Nick Simmons, a former Army special operations officer turned private investigator. Nick is hired by Mrs. Gabrielle Childers to find her missing brother, Jake Rollins. Mrs. Childers believes that her husband, Chilly, who is involved in the drug business, is in some way connected with his disappearance. The story begins with Nick being released on bail from police custody. Nick recounts for his lawyer, Wanda Moore (Is It A Crime), the events which lead him to be the only suspect in four drug related murders. Their conversations throughout the story also give Nick a chance to face the old demons he'd left ten years before.
