The instructions for this product was a bit unclear (although quite comprehensive) so it took a few dipsticks to make sure I was doing the right thing. After I figured it out of course it was smooth sailing. Basically there are two lines, if both appear (between 5-10 minutes) then you're negative. If one further away from the dipping area appears alone, you're positive. If one appears closer to the dipping area, the test is invalid and should be redone. Hope this helps for those that may be confused.

Very simple; two lines means you are clean to 50ng, one line means don't go to a job interview especially if the intial cut off is lower than 50ng. GCMS confirmations are at 15ng and you will not beat one of those with flush or adulterants.

I smoked 3-4 times a day for years and it took over 45 days of cessation to test clean. 6'2 240lbs; the line was faint but there.

I buy 50 at a time and the latest test the line got much darker the cleaner you are. Very happy not to pay $15 at the local Superstore USA for a single test. A++++

Came with no instructions, but a quick internet search took care of that. Dip the strip in for 3 seconds up to the "max" line; put on a non-porous flat surface and read in 5 minutes. Two lines means you're negative, with the line further away from the bottom as a control. If this control line is the only one visible, you're positive. If the control line isn't visible, then it's a mistest.

The tests work, did not have an issue with even one of the drug test. They were used mostly by me but were tested on 4 others, with the test showing the corresponding positive or negative.

Highly recommend for someone looking for a cheap test.

I read a lot about people complaining about these strips, but I've ordered two sets of 25 over the course of this year and they have worked each and every time. I've tested water, I've tested myself at different stages of time spent clean and the strips have always been accurate. I firmly believe that if you have a problem with these strips it's probably user error. They were individually packed and sealed well with moisture absorption packets in every single one. Directions were also printed on every single individually packed strip. 2 lines means NEGATIVE, 1 line means POSITIVE!!! For some reason everyone thinks it's the other way around even though instructions are printed on EVERY SINGLE STRIP PACK. Great Product.

I believe the test strips work accurately, because I have received the expected result each time. Directions were difficult to understand, though, because there was not a picture to clarify what is negative/positive. I called the manufacturer, and they were VERY helpful, clarified my questions. The other thing to be aware of is that although the directions say the test will detect marijuana for 1-5 days, it is possible that it will remain in a person's system longer, depending on amount of use. The manufacturer clarified this when I called. All in all, considering the low cost, I think these test strips were a good buy.

I'm glad to have them. So far I come up positive every test and I'm not sure why. I think I might order some of the 3 or 5 multi drug tests because they seem more professional and possibly give me a more accurate result. These are just kind of cheap. They might be spot-on accurate but the cheapness and simplicity of them give me the feeling the quality is not that good.

So people have said that these tests don't work, one person even said they test positive with tap water. That's not at all true. I just tested with tap water and it came out negative. Let me stress that if the 2nd line closest to the max line on the strip shows up then it is a negative result, NO MATTER HOW DIM IT IS!! The line could be barely visible, but as long as it is there it is a negative result. That is from the directions I received with the product when I ordered it about a year ago. They were extremely detailed and told you everything you needed to know. Back then when I tested myself with it I tested positive, which I was. Now, ordering them last week and testing over the past few days I tested negative, which I am. So I know from personal testing that yes these test strips work.

I noticed that they no longer come with instructions and you get poor instructions from the description. The individual packages do come with a diagram showing what a negative and positive and invalid test result look like. Following the instructions from the description I kept getting an invalid result. Here is how to do it and get a result:

Hold the test strip in the urine for about 9 seconds. Once you see the moisture has made its way to where the test result lines are displayed remove the strip from the urine. You will only have to wait a few seconds to get a readable result, and no more than 3 minutes to get a perfectly clear result. Remember, if the 2nd line(not the control line) shows up AT ALL it is a negative result, NO MATTER HOW FADED IT IS.

These tests can be tricked by diluting your urine(drinking lots of water so the urine is clear), but remember a lot of labs that do drug testing either give an automatic positive if the urine is too dilute or require you to submit another sample under direct observation.

Pretty much the best way to pass a drug test is to not do drugs!

First off: They come with instructions now... pretty detailed instructions as of October 2011. These instructions include how to use them, what their cutoff is (50 ng/ml, typical concentration tested for), AND some trials showing that there is in fact error involved.

As stated by other reviewers, a positive test is determined by one line showing up... only the "control" line which is usually very dark and noticeable. A negative test is determined by two lines showing up... the aforementioned "control" line as well as a second line under it we call the "test" line.

The biggest problem with these tests is that it's difficult sometimes to read the test line because even in 100% water (Hopefully with absolutely no THC in it) it's hard to see the test line. To get around this, I usually do two for each test I'm running... three when I finally had to be sure. You can dilute urine to find cutoffs at 100, 150, 200, etc. ng/ml.

I have to believe you can do better elsewhere, but for such a cheap price I couldn't ask for more.

Tested someone I know to be negative and someone I know to be positive with the both results coming out clearly and as expected. However, someone who is detoxing and is on the verge of testing negative will often produce very faint second lines that indicate a negative test result. Apparently, from what I've read, even the faintest second line indicates a negative test results, just as long as there is something discernible there.

Came with easy to read instructions (they are on each test strip packet). Easy to use and accurate at a reasonable price.
