Zoja is Awesome,

Whether you agree with Zoja's premise or not this is an awesome book which will push the boundaries of some addiction sciences basic assumptions. This book is very relevant to current addiction theory and beyond. The book is written for anyone who enjoys reading a great synthesizer of Jungian thought, and a multidisciplinary approach to a topic. There are very few writers who can make me not to want to put a book down, Dr. Zoja is one of them. I first read Dr. Zoja's book on ethics and psychotherapy when I was a student at a training program at the Jungian institute in Chicago. It was as equally fantastic as the book on addiction. I intend on becoming a devoted Zoja-phile as a result of my enjoyment of his work, and hope to see more published by him in the near future.
