From the Publisher

Drug and alchohol use among teens is higher than ever. But knowing for sure that your kid has a problem, and then understanding how to help without worsening that problem is a parent's dilemma. In this important new guide, the former director of the Haight Ashbury Clinic teams up with a licensed psychologist to show readers how to assess their child's problem and intervene successfully, in ways that match one's parenting style. Includes a comprehensive glossary of the latest drug terms and slang, with crucial tips for setting limits and making informed decisions.
