Book Description

***ROMANTIC COMEDY BESTSELLER***
Sexy and funny novella from Liv Morris, an Amazon bestselling author.

People often ask me how I met "The Infamous Andrew Cooper." He's rather a big deal here in Atlanta. You see, Andrew is a former NFL star and tight end for the Atlanta Falcons. The best way to describe Andrew? Chiseled, sculpted from head to toe, drop dead (or your panties) handsome and he sports a rather luscious tight end himself. Basically, he's a rival to Michelangelo's David. Can you hear me sighing at the comparison? Oh, another important thing I almost forgot. He's also the man I fell desperately in love with, though stubbornly it took me awhile to realize it.

Who am I? Well, I'm, Amelia Montgomery. My friends call me Millie. I'm just an average girl who was raised in the Deep South. Nothing spectacular or unique about me except perhaps my freakish love for art. I'm just your normal, everyday girl next door. This little fact makes the story of how Andrew and I met even harder to believe. And to think it all began with a simple phone call one August morning...

A 22,000 word love story. Set in Atlanta, Georgia.

I've read all of Liv Morris' entries in her Love in the City short story series. They fun, bite-sized joys to read! Drunk & Disorderly is the first one to be done in POV and Millie is a sweet and sassy heroine that finds herself at that particular crossroads of having be a grown-up but fresh out of school, living back at home with her parents, and looking for her dream job as an art teacher with apparently no openings available. Sometimes, a girl just needs to not be herself for a day and have a few drinks before noon and the luck to find a beyond gorgeous man, one Andrew Cooper, to charm you out of your pants! Liv Morris takes us on fun ride of Millie's ups and downs as she get her guy. I only wish this story were a bit longer and we spent more time with Millie and Coop when fate has their paths cross again. Very quick and fun read!

4.0 out of 5 stars As always, Liv delivers another wonderful story. June 15, 2013

Once I saw this new story from Liv Morris, I had to read it; and as always, she delivered a wonderful short. I am a Georgia girl myself, so first I loved all the references to Atlanta and the South (not bad for a Northern Girl, lol). Second, who knew the Liv had such a wicked good sense of humor; there were really some great literal laugh out loud moments in the story. And last but certainly not least, I never want her stories to end because they are so darn good. They are always attention grabbing, with well though out storylines and engaging characters; she can do with a short what many full novels can't always do, and that is to pull in the reader, capture their complete attention and leave them wanting much, much more. Thanks Liv for another good one!

5.0 out of 5 stars *Fanning my face* Fun, heat and a lot of tension! June 13, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This short story was such a treat! It was fun watching Millie and Andrew give into the scorching fire that's consuming them both from first setting eyes on each other, and the passion they unleash on each other made me squirm in my seat. I adored the first person narrative of this short story, as Liv Morris injects some funny comedic moments where Millie addresses the reader. This narrative had me laughing aloud through much of the story! Some bad decisions and a very large bruised ego make for an interesting, unexpected ending, and I'm so happy that they were able to work through the tension at the tail end of this story, which only fueled their undeniable attraction to each other. I loved Drunk and Disorderly!

3.0 out of 5 stars lost June 15, 2013

I'm at a loss. The story is all over the place then wham happily ever after with a really poorly written epilogue. Ok for a short read to cure some boredom, but be prepared for an abrupt ending.
Glad this was free

3.0 out of 5 stars Funny but Confusing July 28, 2013
By Steph
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Drunk & Disorderly was a cute book and I liked the premise, but I just couldn't understand why Millie hated Coop so much! He didn't do anything wrong and her actions were beyond immature for a high school teacher. Ms. Morris did pen a funny book though, and except for my confusion over Millie's anger, it was pretty cute, albeit a tad short. I'd read more from this author.

This novella reads like a girlfriend telling you about her most embarrassing moments, where you sit there with your mouth open in awe, laughing, at Murphy's Law in action.....
