I heard about these girls on youtube. They have awesome harmonies and really meaningful lyrics for being so young. They are wise beyond their years!! The whole album connects stories in a captivating way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saw them live in Europe, August 28, 2009

Definitely an up-and-coming folk band. They are two sisters from Sweden, both teenagers, but with great voices and good influences (Fleet Foxes, Carter Family). They play guitar, organ, piano, and autoharp, and can both belt it out and harmonize. They have a long career ahead of them, and this debut album is totally worth it. And don't worry, they sing in English.

Drunken Trees being first aid kits 2008 release is a mix between pop and folk music and is released as an EP and contains 7 songs and is 25 minutes long. They sound like a mix between Indigo Girls (without the politics) and early Jewel. The booklet has a cover like a small child drew it and the rest of the booklet is filled with the same. I was very impressed by their vocal skills and their well-written lyrics. 4/5.
