Product Description

Size: 20-Pack

When used in closed places where mold, mildew and fungus live and breed silica gel whisks away moisture to create a protective environment of dry air. It prevents all forms of rust, corrosion, oxidation, mildew, fungus, mold, fogging, etc. Silica gel is used to prevent tarnish on gold and silver, in your tool box to protect your precious tools from rusting, or drop some in your camera bag to protect your camera and equipment. It even protects expensive leather items like jackets, shoes and boots. Also great for tackle boxes, photo albums, computer media storage, gun cases, ammo boxes, coin collections, camping gear, backpacks, campers, electronics, etc.

So I'm a woman that loves to buy shoes and with that, I have A LOT of shoe boxes and they come in every size.

These are very small and just the right thing to put in your ammo box to keep the moisture out.

These did not arrive in airtight packaging, which means they were able to absorb moisture during transport. Indeed, some of the packets appeared to be partially saturated when they arrived. If you're having them shipped to a humid location, you may end up with a less effective product. This is especially troubling since the manufacturer recommends that they NOT be reactivated in an oven. They're for single use and that's it.

The only complaint I have is that these were packaged in a punctured ziplock bag. Not knowing when the puncture occurred, I don't know how much their lifespan has been reduced. Probably not much though.

I live in high humidity area and been having problems with spices, flour,or whatever caking up in the jars. ever since I've been putting these in the jars I've never had any problems. I also use these in my gun cases & in cases where electronics are kept. these things work very well and will be buying more when the time comes. they arrived in a air tight package and are well worth the money.

Since I dry my own herbs/spices, I bought these to put inside my spice jars and keep them from rehydrating. They work great! If they absorb too much moisture, you can put them in the oven at 250 deg for 3-4 hours and dry them back out for re-use.

Looks like the seller upped their packaging. I received mine in a sealed bag. The bag had some air in it, which is not an issue, just letting people know that you should not expect a vacuumed bag. For less than $4, this is a great deal. Keeps my condenser mics and other electronics free from moisture. A+

I had hoped I would get lucky and get a package of these in a sealed bag, even though others said their packages were not airtight. The little ziplock bag was left open so who knows if these are any good. I live in a very humid part of the world (Florida) so I'm not real happy. I wish they could make these so that they turn colors when they are no longer any good...I know some of the containers of these do that (pink and blue).

I ordered these sachets primarily for some waterproof cases (bags?) I had purchased for myself and my husband to use with our phones and eReaders. I had read reviews saying that they tended to fog up on the inside. I figured, no moisture, no fogging.
Have been using them a few weeks and so far so good. Also, the quantity was such a deal, I've been dropping the extras into storage bags for other electronics ie: cameras, digital projector, etc.
Very pleased with product and seller.

I was shipped a bag that was open, with I think it was 8 packets (was supposed to be 20). Amazon refunded me no problems however. But then I tried one of the packets in my jar of onion powder, and it didn't work at all, it still got hard as rock. This may be because the packets were incorrectly packed...but I'm not too excited about trying it again.
