After buying 2 of these, one had a grommet problem (not snapped on both sides)..called there customer service to advise them and they INSISTED they send me another replacement at no charge and to keep the old one..nice professional people..In our area of high winds and snow, time will nor tell the tale, but customer service is great

I bought this UV tarp to shade my tent at Burningman, the UV aspect worked very well at shielding the sun, also it survived some very strong dust storms; proving that it's very well constructed. I wouldn't spend too much time looking else where.

I purchased this tarp to use under my tent. It's perfect. Thick enough to protect the tent floor from sticks and rocks and my kids!!

I purchased this tarp in May of this year(2011). Within the first month the color started to flake off. It also became very dry and started to rip.
It is now July 2011 and the tarp is pretty much useless. Each time I pick it up to rearrange it, another rip happens. The tarp is described as being UV protected and weather resistant. Whatever the treatment, it received did not work for me.
I live in Arizona and granted the sun is very brutal, but, since the tarp was described as UV protected and weather resistant, I think that it should have lasted more than what it has. Each time I attempt to put tape over a rip, another one starts. The tarp has all but fallen apart.
I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and would NOT recommend this product if you live in an area where it is hot.
I very seldom write reviews of my purchases, but, in this case, I feel that I wasted around $26.00. I would have been better off just putting painters plastic over what I was trying to protect.

I normally buy the double-sided tarp from Home Depot and was looking to buy from a non-box store and save a little money. Unfortunately, this tarp falls short. It is definitely thinner than the HD tarp. I haven't had a chance to really test the durability of this tarp, but I'm guessing I'll only get one year out of it [I get two years with the HD tarp.]

It also bothers me that they claim this is a 5.5oz/yard material. Maybe that means something other than what it seems to say, but I weighed it and it comes out well short - including the packaging and reinforcing, etc.

All-in-all I think it is a much better tarp than you get buying the cheap blue tarps, but not as good as a $29 heavy duty tarp bought elsewhere. The extra $5 for a second year of use would be well worth it.

Good purchase. I'm glad I went with the better tarp. I needed something to lay down under an above-ground pool we just bought. This is so much better and higher quality than those cheap other things and it's even better than other tarps. Worth it. It's holding up nicely in the sun and with the pool water sloshing on it. No problems.

We primarily use this tarp under our very large tent and are very satisfied. It is both heavy and strong. It is waterproof and easy to clean, refold and store. It is just perfect for this use. I shopped for quality and price before I ordered this tarp and was very satisfied with this choice. I also liked that it was not a bright yellow or orange, as some are. Colorwise it blends in with the outdoors.

Was actually better than expected for the money. Appears as good or better than one I have that is 3 yrs old and still in use as a roof for a dog kennel.

This one piece tarp is perfect for my Eureka Copper Canyon 1610 Tent. Heavy duty but easy to fold and pack up.

These tarps are extremely heavy compared to big-box store tarps. Haven't tested it timewise for durability, but this will last a heck of a lot longer than the cheap tarps. Recommended.
