Nice, large grill mat. Thinner than I suspected it would be, but I believe it will do a nice job protecting the deck surface beneath my father's grill. You can throw it in the wash when it does get too dirty. One drawback is that you should not use this mat on composite or 'fake' woods as, in the hot sun, it will stick to these kinds of surfaces. Otherwise I think its a good product.

This mat is thin, and easily gets tangled. It is a tripping hazard for that reason. However, it is easy to wash, and definitely protects our terrace.

the mat is rather flimsy and blows up at the corners. It is not attractive at all. It keeps the deck under it wet all the time. I think a typical outdoor rug would be better. Live and Learn.

it surves the purpose but its very thin and the wind blows the ends up it serves the same purpose as a towel would . bad buy on my part

Ok, I bought this because I have a Brinkmann side firebox grill, and its huge. Most mats dont come close to covering the entire area below that thing, but this one did, with a few inches to spare. As another reviewer said, this mat weighs next to nothing, so wind will be an issue with smaller grills. I hve burned a few holes in it with charcoal embers, but the deck below the mat was fine, and that's what I bought this for.

This grill mat is a great buy but curls at the ends. I like that it is machine washable. If you want a thicker grill mat then this isn't the mat for you.

THe grill mat helps alot with keeping the grease from the grill, from getting to the wood of the deck.

I wouldn't trust this protecting a nice deck surface; it's extremely thin. I returned the product so I can't speak on the actual durability of it.

Even though the product indicated that it is not for use with a charcoal grill, I use it to protect my deck from grease when cooking on my Weber charcoal grill. In order to provide the proper coverage, I had to use 2 mats and place them side-by-side.

Works great protecting from grease splatters. Since my Weber grill has an enclosed fly-ash catcher (one-touch gold model), I'm not too worried about charcoal landing on the mat.

I wanted to bring my grill up onto my deck for the winter and didn't want grease everywhere. This model is larger than most, rolls out flat, suits my needs perfectly. Be aware that it says "not for use on composite decks" right on the box, I didn't know that till I got it. I have an Azek deck and I checked with the mfg, there was no issue. These have a polypropylene backing which may not be compatible with some composite decks and I hear may stick. Overall I'm satisfied with this product and would recommend it.
