I bought 2 of these mats and they work excellent. The pups could move around very well becuase of there little toenails can grip the fabric and I would just through the mat in the washing machine and it would come out looking like new. If you ever think about having a little of pups, you should really get one of these.

This product was very helpful during the whelping proccess. I used it as a base to towels & sheets. I found my female liked laying on the whelping mat better than towels & sheets.

The best thing I got for my puppies to go along with the exercise pen. kept them safe and easier to clean up after!!! Wonderful thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks. Fast shipping and great seller. Very on top of things. In fact I ordered another one with them also. Sue

This stuff works! I love the 2 pads I bought - one to throw in the wash, the other is in the pen and I rotate them! I wish they sold this by the bolt, I'd buy a whole bolt or 3!!!!

Nice product that works well as an under liner for a whelping box. Stops the liquid and keeps it on top for easy cleanup. Thanks for the good service. fflazzie

This blanket did stop most of the puppy pee . A little does go through though. I am not sure if I would purchase this one again since you have to double up on the pads.

I would not recommend this product for a whelping box liner for newborn pups. After just a few hours of use, the green fabric started to pill and fuzz. The pups claws caught on it and caused it to fuzz. The mom's digging (ie; nest building) also caused it to pill/fuzz badly. This fuzz got into the scabs of their dew claw wounds and the mother tracked the fuzz all over the house. Even after washing, the pilling/fuzz did not go away. I really loved the tacky, rubber backing and wished it had a different fabric on top. For half the price, I would recommend the EZWhelp Washable Whelping Pad. Just wish it had the tacky, rubber backing that this product did. Someone needs to combine the top of the EZWhelp with the bottom of the Drymate and we would have the perfect whelping box liner!

I bought these for my Siberian Husky litter based on the great reviews. 5 stars???? The amount of fuzz shed by these is incredible and somewhat dangerous when it works it's way into the mouths of week old puppies. Yes, they wash but the drying sometimes takes forever - after all, they are designed to absorb and keep moisture. They are incredibly thin so offer nothing for padding. Very uncomfortable for anyone sitting in the whelping box to play with pups. I bought two and wasted $50. Wish I could return them but they look used and a year old after one week. I wish I could find the old fake sheepskin whelping box liners.

Whelping liner is great! When the puppies were born I had some towels lining the top of the mat and my girl was scratching the towels and puppies were getting rolled up in the towels. I then just used the mat what a difference. It washes up nice except for a few balls on it but not a big deal. I should have bought 2 so that I would have a spare while washing. I would recommend this product.

I actually use this mat to line my rabbit's "condo" to protect my floors from occasional mishaps. Dodger is litter-box trained, but, as a rabbit, isn't quite as good at this as a cat. He'll occasionally miss the edge of his litter box, throw his water dish, knock over his salad bowl, etc, and this mat is PERFECT! It can be cut-to-fit any shape or size that you need. I actually use the scraps as mats under his other litter box, in my car during the winter, and many other random uses for small, soft, waterproof applications. The surface is soft and felt-y, perfect to snuggle into. No liquids have ever penetrated the mat in 3 yrs of my experience, it looks nice and can be vacuumed. It washes well in the machine, and is inexpensive enough to replace every year (which I do, but it's not really necessary, just preference for me to start fresh each fall). There's no reason not to purchase this mat!
