5.0 out of 5 stars Good AC adapter for the DSi
There are not many AC adapters for the DSi which support a 240V power supply. Even this one I had to wait for a while to get. This adapter can be used to charge the Nintendo DSi by connecting to the USB port of any computer which makes it a very useful feature.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheap wall adapter
The useful part of this product is the USB cable which I plug into another wall/USB adapter and works fine. The included adapter is cheap, flimsy and does not charge consistently - the light at least does not stay on leading me to think it does not maintain good electrical contact.

Another nice feature I found about this adapter is that when connected to the power socket and either the DSi is not plugged in or the DSi has been fully recharged, the adapter makes a small sound (kind of an alert) which indicated that some attention is required.
It also works finely with a 110V power supply.
On the overall this is a very good replacement power adapter for your Nintendo DSi.

It works on Dsi XL but it is loose and you have to place it just right to get it to charge. Very annoying if your trying to play while charging it.

Works fine! you can charge on 110/220 voltage or you can charge from any other USB slot, like a computer, or a Wii, or a TV that has USB.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it., August 17, 2009
This review is from: Dsi AC Adapter - Black (Accessory)
Bottom line: stopped working after two uses

Read on for more:

The price is right for this charger, but you get what you pay for. I bought this charger because I needed a 220v adapter out here in Europe.

First of all, when I got the charger, it was new, meaning the package was sealed and unopened (one of those plastic blister packs). When I opened it, however, I noticed the charger looked used. It had scuff marks on it in several places. I thought, "Well, for $10 what should I expect? As long as it works..."

Yes, it charged fine two times, but then the thing just stopped working. Not sure what happened, I never dropped it or anything like that, but it's just not worth going back and forth trying to get an exchange or refund. I'm sure others may work fine for other people, but it's a gamble you'll just have to take.

Another thing to note, when the charger did work, it made a quiet yet really high-pitched noise. Not sure what that was all about, but it actually woke me up in the middle of the night (I'm a very light sleeper and there was no ambient noise to hide the high-pitched noise).

To sum up, the company is probably just trying to make a quick buck - using cheap parts/production where maybe 2 out of every 3 chargers actually works, but also selling it just cheap enough so that noone will really care when it doesn't work.

So for now, I am using the OEM 110v charger on a transformer at home. If I'm travelling, I'm stuck with whatever charge I have leaving the house. So just waiting on a more reliable charger! =)

This is a dual dock charger for Ipods. We have a nano and a touch and they both charge simulaneously! It is awesome!
