This is the most protective case that you can currently buy for the DSi and I checked them all out. Your DSi snaps into place and is well secured. The armor is thick and spongy. It is a little bulky but the protection it offers is well worth the trade-off. I highly recommend this particularly if you have hard floors (tile, wood, laminate) throughout your house.

This is a great case for the Nintendo DSi Matte - Black. Plenty of cushion to absorb shocks and a very snug fit so the cover will stay in place. Some may not like the difficulty of removing the case after you install it, but I see that as a plus. It's built ruggedly and should stand up to wear and tear. It does make the game significantly larger to grasp, but I think it's also more comfortable. My kids have no problems playing games with it. The hole is also cut out properly for the camera and SD cards. Overall, I highly recommend!!

i was looking for two things -- something that offered better protection than a silicon skin, and some sort of grip that would help my big hands hold the tiny DSi more comfortably. Nerf Armor does both very, very well

My 6 year old son loves this as it is made of real nerf material and is nice and grippy. It's quite bulky and the blue on this one doesn't match the turqoise DSi color like I thought it would. Other than that, it has really provided nice sturdy protection from baby brother tossing it around. I recommend.

Baby bro chewed chunks of this thing off and we're going to just keep buying as many as it takes to replace the last. We still LOVE this thing--my oldest sons DSi has taken a BEATING and doesn't have so much as a scratch or a glitch in the system. Shocked. Definitely STILL recommend!

We bought cases for our 6 and 8 year olds. The DSi snapped right in. All the ports are easy to access and the unit should never have to be removed from the case. It isn't so large that the kids can't put their hands around it and it feels good, like all Nerf products. A great protection system for our investment.

When it honestly has came down it, no other company has done more for video games than Nintendo. No doubt about it, with the success of the Nintendo DSi, many gamers have found new and different meaning of gaming on the go. But, with the system being so light, there simply hasn't been many accessories to securely keep the system. Well Nerf Armor has tried something different with their new DSi armor. It is easy to setup, and comes in many different colors like Blue & Red. The Armor fits like a glove, and gives you tight and sturdy protection whenever you have to bring your DSi on the go. With all that is going on in the way of video games, it definitely is worth the money to protect the DSi, and the Nerf Armor is the most secure way, and maintains the tightness of holding all the way for the DSi. I absolutely recommend this as a must buy for your Nintendo DSi.

The Dsi is slim and relatively fragile. The Nerf Armor protects it and makes it more comfortable to handle - at least if you are slightly clumsy, as I am. It fits well, and allows access to all the various ports, buttons, and jacks. The only difficulty is getting the SD card in and out, but that isn't serious. You can bend the flexible nerf material to make it easier. If this part of it had been better designed, I would have given it 5 stars.

The Nerf cases are terrific protectors for of the unit for young DS/DSi users. My only complaint is there durability. This is the 2nd one we've purchased since Christmas. The first one's foam started to come off probably between 4 & 5 months of use. With that said, I would still recommend buying one for the purpose they serve.

I recently bought this case to protect my dsi. I was a little leary at first because it didnt feel that it would really secure the unit but i was wrong it fits nice in the case and provides great protection to it. I would definitely recommend getting it because I know people will want to take care of their dsi's. I got mine in blue/black to go along with my blue dsi. Both colors would go good if you bought the black dsi. It is probally one of the best dsi cases on the market. I give the case an A. The only slight con is that the case is bulky but has great grips and is very nice and soft to the hands so it dosnt slip out while you are playing it. But it is the best. So definitely get one if you dont currently have one.

we bought this for our son to protect his DSi. The armor is rugged, but the fit is so tight that it squezzes his DSi to the point that the rear "R" button stays stuck when pressed when the case is fully opened. We now use as a carrying case but he has to remove it to play, or stick with playing in the case at a 90 degree angle.
