Take 2 Celtic musicians, add 2 Nordic musicians and the result is an understanding of how similar Celtic and Nordic music is. Fiddles, guitar, accordion, and vocals. Solid playing throughout with a nice energy and a high degree of polish and charm. A fine mix of instrumentals and vocals, traditional and original compositions. It's great toe-tapping music, perfect for when your mood needs a bit of a pick me up.

Swåp offers an interestig combination of Celtic and Scandanavian music. The songs are all in Svenska (Swedish) and for the most part they are upbeat and at times "energizing". This CD is great if you want to just relax with a cup of tea or if you need to spruce up a rainy day. If you like "world" music or "celtic" music I highly recommend it... though, don't expect pure "Celtic" music... that it is certainly not.
