Simple, compact and can be used anywhere without tying up USB ports on the PS3. I have also used it to charge other devices that use USB for charging.

Completely satisified and have already recommended it to others.

i can use with my ipod and ps3 and my wii fit. i can charge them all with out turning on the games.

This charger is super cheap and does a great job. You can plug it in anywhere to a wall socket and charge up your controllers -- two at a time. Nice to not have to have your PS3 turned on just to charge up the controller.

This thing is great. I use it to charge my GPS unit, cell phone, playstation 3 controls,etc......... Definately worth buying! Gonna take it on vacation with me.

I too own this product, and it works as expected, it also, charges other devices that use usb, such as mp3 players etc. I really like the fact that it uses AC power, and so I don't have to leave my computer or the PS3 on. When my son gets ready to play his game, both his controllers are charged and ready to go.

Playstation 3 Dual Charge AC

I bought this product last week (sold by Amazon.com, not third party) and I had a very unpleasant surprise: the charger's output current here at Amazon's site is stated to be 1000mA but the unit I received is only 800mA. It's a little hard to find this information at Nyko's website, I found it only at the product's enlarged image (http://www.nyko.com/img/nyko/products/large/DualChargeAC.jpg , better seen in: http://www.k-netsystems.net/images/83015.jpg)

This 800mA unit charges my PS3 joysticks, GPS (Mio C220), PSP 2000 and portable speakers, but do NOT charge iPhone (1st gen), the phone fails to recognize the USB energy from this charger (weird but that's what's happening).

I have been looking for a charger like this for my PS3 controllers for awhile. The price point is the real selling point here. It won't charge an iPhone 3GS. Extra cables are a plus.

Complaint/concern: It will not continuously charge your controller. After the controller is done charging the charger will not kick-on again to charge the controller until you remove the cable from the controller and plug it back into the controller.

Cheap charger for your PS3 controllers.

Not sure if it automatically turns off after fully charging peripherals (I'm almost certainly sure it does) but all I can say is that it works and it charges my items well. No more having to wait to turn off my PS3. It's extremely handy and I recommend buying this one for PS3 peripherals and such. Do not buy this for anything other than the PS3. It does work for other items but it does not work for items such as Ipods and MP3.

This is an excellent USB charging device. Small and easy to use, this is not only great for charging PS3 controllers but a great charger for anything USB (iPod, cell phone) at home or when you travel. Low and behold, the idea of pleasing the customer is not entirely dead, as this actually comes with TWO USB cables instead of nickel and diming us for every little thing one needs to actually use the product.

While this gadget charges ps3 controllers just like you'd expect, I actually took it on a trip to charge a lot of other stuff. Since many devices now charge via USB. I charged my phone, psp, headphones, and bluetooth dongle.
