This bike cover will not fit two mountain or hybrid bikes. It should be noted that the bikes need to be road bikes with short handlebars. A waste of money if you need it to fit two bikes with regular wide style handlebars.

We bought this cover for the bikes we carry on the back of our Jeep Liberty. It easily covered two bikes and is made of a very sturdy fabric with good solid zippers. The problem we encountered was obstruction of the brake\turn\tail lights. Even though the design tries to deal with this issue by using clear plastic at each outer edge, the combination of bike wheels, plastic, and reflections, reduces the visibility to the lights to nearly zero in daytime conditions. We do use this cover to protect the bikes when they are not stored on the Jeep.

Well made cover but not usable for many bike rack setups especially for covering TWO bikes. I contacted the company but still had some surprises. It is extremely difficult to fit TWO bikes into this cover. They must be mouted as CLOSE as your mount will allow facing the same directions which may result in rub points that must be padded, which occurred in my case. Because of the many different bike frame styles and sizes, it is very difficult to predict the conflict that can occur between two bikes mounted so close together. In my case, the cover would only work if I mounted the bikes in a certain order otherwise one bike was ridding on the rear deraileur of the other. I also had to lower one of the bike seats for the cover to fit. There was no conflict with my van taillights but I had to place a strap around the cover to pull up the clear PVC in front of the lights.

We have 2 Trek "Verve III" hybred bicycles. Mine is a large 22" frame. We mount them on a Swagman hitch rack in opposing directions. This cover fits as if it was custom made for our bikes. The cover itself is very high quality materials and construction. When closed, the bikes are completely protected from water and dust. The adjustable straps on the cover tighten everything dow so that the wind does not flap it around. I do put a bungie cord under the bottom part where there is no strap. The cover is very easy to zip open/closed and wraps snugly at the hitch receiver. This particular model uses velcro at the hitch connection, so I didn't have to remove the hitch to install. When closed, the bikes are completely protected, especially from road grime that would tend to blow up from the bottom. The plastic "lens" to allow your taillights to be seen are made out of pliable and thick translucent material. Will they dry out or crack later? I doubt it, but only time will tell. Overall, I am very happy with this cover.

It took awhile to figure out how to use the the cover. All bikes must face the same direction. The cover is ideal for a bike rack that has a bar the the bikes hang from by their center post.
Our bike rack is one that the bikes tires sit in a slot therefore the bikes are slightly further apart than on the other type of rack. Ideally the rack we have the bikes should be loaded with the front ends opposite of each other. So a lot of adjustments had to take place to have the bikes both facing the same way. However the one bike the front wheel has to be ahead of the other bike. So when you put the bike cover on you cannot zip the cover all the way at the bottom because of the width and staggering of the bikes.

Bungee cords come in handy to help secure the cover.

It is well made and durable. It is keeping the bikes clean and from getting wet when raining. We have the bike rack on the back of our 33 ft. trailer.

No disapointment here. High quality heavy canvas construction with good zippers.Translucent ends allow brake and turn signals to be seen. Takes a little work to get on but gets easier each time. One reminder....... check to see were the front is (nicely marked with inside tag). Once discovered made it a lot easier to put on:-)

This product MIGHT be OK. However, it is shipped without instructions. After spending an hour trying to get my bikes covered, I gave up, threw the cover into a corner of the garage and went on my vacation.

Hours later, while driving and still angry about no instructions, I figured it out. To use this you first put the cover over the hitch receiver like a turtle neck sweater, then instal the bike rack, then push the cover out of the way against your car, to install the bikes, then you pull the unzipped cover over the bikes, etc. So, the cover will not come off without first removing the bike rack. Which means you can not use the car, until you get the rack and cover off.

I don't know for sure that the instructions I just gave you will actually work; I haven't done it and I'm not interested enough to try it again. And I do have a concern about wind resistance after oovering the bikes. So, maybe next vacation.

So, if you want a cover, buy one. But don't buy from this company. Perhaps a competitor company cares enough about customers to include instructions. What a thought.
