Pretty Good,
By
This review is from: Dual Electronics XDMA6855 AM/FM/CD/MP3 Car Stereo (Electronics)
I bought this about 3 years ago, and it's pretty good. It's been durable, and I use the iPod compatibility with no hitches. It doesn't have a great EQ system (only controls for bass and treble), but aside from that, it's been a pretty decent player.

Don't buy this product!,
This review is from: Dual Electronics XDMA6855 AM/FM/CD/MP3 Car Stereo (Electronics)
I bought this item on "Manager's Special" at Best Buy for $40, which seemed like a great deal at the time to replace my old In-Dash CD Player which had a burned out display and was fairly dated. I paid $50 (more than the price of the player!) for professional installation, and it worked great....for two days. The first time I used the removable faceplate (which was motorized) the product never worked right again. It doesn't seem to reattach itself correctly when you put it back, sometimes while you're listening to the radio, it will just shut itself off for a few seconds, and then come back on. Also, the display will randomly go out, or only have a partial display. My friend, who also bought one of these, and purchased a product replacement plan, went back to the store and they informed her that they had stopped selling Dual products because they're a known problem-child in car installations. They also replaced her $40 problem product with a "similar functions" product which was on the shelf at $300. Luckily, I also bought a PRP, so I just need to go in and get mine switched out as well.
I had also bought the BTM60, which attaches to this device so you can receive bluetooth calls through your stereo. That also worked for awhile, and then abruptly stopped. Now, instead of saying bluetooth is connected, when I push the bluetooth button, it just displays "H....W..." in the display and nothing happens. DON'T BUY DUAL PRODUCTS!
