Great Antenna!,

This review is from: Dual MAR16W White Rubber Mast Marine AM/FM Antenna (Electronics)
I installed this antenna, in addition to a new marine head unit in my Dad's pontoon boat last week. Since then he has said radio reception has increased dramatically from the previous internal antenna and head unit setup. One thing that would be nice is a template for how big a hole you need to drill to mount this, and also the maximum thickness of the mounting location. Over all this was a great addition to the boat, and I am sure it will last a long time.

This antenna is about what one might expect for 5-10 dollars. Over 10 dollars you might feel a bit victimized.
The antenna is soft bendy plastic and flops around. The cross section is not round, adding the the cheap plastic look. The reception for my Wisc. pontoon boat, is poor. Not recommended. Two stars for price and the fact that it is, indeed, an antenna.

This antenna never worked for me so I had to hide an additional auto antenna under the console

It's a total joke to call this Marine grade. It would rust out in 30days in a salts water craft and a few months in fresh water. More imported crap from China folks look else ware

Product works but it is light blue not white and it is very soft flexible rubber and does not stand up straight on the radar arch (it blows with the wind). I can live with it for now. This would be a good product for cars prone to vandalism.

Use it on my boat and it works good. Bends out of the way easily when putting on the boat cover

It seems to work ok. I did not "install" it on my boat I just plugged it into the head unit and threw it up under the console.

Wish I had bought something else. Not stiff enough to stay upright. Too cheap to bother with returning. Makes my 48' Motoryacht look cheap.
