4.0 out of 5 stars A great item for the price, definately worth it!
After outfitting my saturn l200 2003 with Dual's 50w RMS midrange speakers, I began to search for a new head unit. The stock one puts out 30w rms x4 which was underutilizing my new 50w speakers.

This was the answer, with 50w rmsx4 channels it was a perfect fit. Same company too!

Installation was a breeze, i was up and going in an hour after...

2.0 out of 5 stars It is OK
You get what you pay for. It is just abit to long to fit in my 2006 Nissan Frontier. It is not a good radio.

Installation was a breeze, i was up and going in an hour after getting a cheap harness.

Positives: Reads ID3 tags off mp3 cds, 200w power, iPlug, antiskip, preamp outs, looks great in any system.

negatives: bass distorts quickly if turned up too much, iplug is away from unit.

Ok so I love the fact that it reads all my CD-R's no sweat. And it hasnt skipped once and I live near some bumpy roads that would torture my old unit. The iplug sold me as I have an ipod and using it any other way (fm transmitter/cassette cable) sucks. This was awesome. I would have liked the iplug to be in the face of the stereo, but instead it is away from the unit. Not exactly my preference. However It was easy to mount it with the sticky tape included.

The iplug works perfectly and i couldnt ask for more. The only down is if you customize the bass boost to +5 or +6 (moreso on 6) the bass distorts quite a bit. Its putting too much out for the midrange. Sounds good on subs, but not the rest of the speakers. At +4/5 is where it sounds best.

Overall a 9/10 or 4/5, i'd highly reccommend it.
