I bought this unit, given its decent reviews, great price, and a previous positive experience with similar products. As I am not a handyman by any means, had it professionally installed at a local car audio shop. It worked fine on the way home, and I was happy with its sound. However, upon restarting my car a few hours later, the radio flickered, and turned off after about 2 minutes. It then restarted itself, only to eventually die again. I tried resetting the unit, and was able to get it to work again for the duration of my drive. Hoping this was just the new radio "settling in," decided to try it for another day before bringing it back to the shop. Unfortunately, the next day, it stopped working altogether. Brought it to the shop, who confirmed that the leads were working and powered correctly. Turning on the radio, he was able to elicit a garbled jumble of letters on the screen and no power. Sadly, not even anticipating this as a possibility, I threw out the packaging the moment I got home after installation, not anticipating a defective product. Sadly, upon returning to the shop to have it removed, the owner mentioned that he stopped selling Dual models because people kept coming back with problems. In any case, bottom line - may still be worth the money, but SAVE YOUR PACKAGING AND RECEIPT until you are sure you don't need to return it. wish I had known.
