You are getting your money's worth on these little guys.
GregGA
Initially it turned off on me, but I realized that my sub is a dual voice coil 2 ohm and was wired to be a 1 ohm load, too much for this little guy.
MrRN
Don't over load it and make sure that it gets vented, you should be good to go.

Purchased this amp at Wally World for 55 bucks with the intention of driving my(2) 8 inch bazooka tubes i had in another vehicle back in 93
I still have a 4 channel amp from the day but it doesnt have a crossover built and i cant seem to locate the coustic xm5 crossover i had. I recently bought a new kenwood head unit and 4 sony xplod 6.5 inch speakers for the doors of my Blazer. yet something was missing still - I fired this amp up didnt get any sound from my tubes - then i actually read the instructions :\ and turned on the low pass filter and set the frequency where i liked it - This amp makes my tubes hit so hard i have to turn it almost all the way down on the gain to mix properly - To say the least i was thoroughly impressed with the 55 dollar results - say cha ching with me :) I hear people talk about these small amps not putting out enough power to their subs - i just dont get that - My wife came outside to see what the racket was and it was me setting the bass levels. Ive heard big money systems not put out this low bass ...really

This amp will not let you down.I bought two of them one for me and one for my son.We hooked my sons amp on two 12" subs and it sounds amazing. Mine will be next a single 12" infinity in a ported box.

Bought this little monster at Wally world for $55. After hooking it up with a nice amp install kit, this is driving my Rockford Fosgate P3SD212 12" loaded truck enclosure. Let me say, this thing is loud and clear. No distortion once tuned. Initially it turned off on me, but I realized that my sub is a dual voice coil 2 ohm and was wired to be a 1 ohm load, too much for this little guy. Once wired correctly, this is very satisfying and don't know why a $300 mono-block is necessary. Very nice little amp, worth every little penny!!

I have this amp running a DVC 15" speaker, and I am pleased with it. I got it from WalMart for 55 bucks, and I honestly wasn't expecting as much as I got out of it. It plays hard, the blue triangle on the top is a nice touch, and it has a few features that some other amps don't (LPF, HPF, line level and RCA inputs, bass boost). My only problem with it (and this is probably is WalMart, not Dual) is that when I recommended this to a friend, he got it and the mounting screws and the allen wrench weren't in the box! This amp requires very long screws since they go through the entire heat sink, and the allen wrench because it uses hex-head set screws for the hook-ups. Over all, though, a very good product.

For the money you won't be disappointed at all with this amp, or it's performance. I've ran it real hot with my Polk MOMO 10", but it has never cut-out or overheated on me.(The one and only possible complaint would be the small wire inputs) For $55+ or - dollars you will get all your moneys worth plus a little extra, and if something happens in the future, your not out hundreds. This amp out performs my last amp that was a Sony and over twice the price. By far the best amp for the price that I've ever owner and have been in the car audio game since the mid-nineties.BUY IT NOW no BS!

For the price you can't beat it. Someone actually gave me one as a gift, I liked it so much I bought another Identical. I have two of these in my car one running my front the other my rear speakers. It's pretty powerful I have the gain about 1/3 up on each. Has a frequency control knob too. I keep both of mine with the high pass filter on as I have a third amp running my subs. I'm guessing each set of speakers I have are maybe 100+ rims. I wouldn't recommend this for subs though.

Bought one of these amps at walmart for a cheap set up for 55$, Running it bridged on 2 10" Dual 4 ohm Kicker CVR's in a HUGE ported box tuned to 35Hz. Only problem is that it stinks like s*** if you run it for a long time, and plus it heats up enough to fry an egg on it.. Other than that, its still taking my abuse to this day. The 2 CVR's are way under powered but WOW. (This may be just the box but) I get roof flex, back windshield flex, even outside car side panel flex! All in all, for the price, if you're on a budget set up, you can't go wrong. Plus their wattage rating is fairly closer to its actual rather than the way overrated boss amps. In this case the "you get what you pay for" statement in amps doesn't comply to my purchase. 55$ Well spent. Cheers! Hoped this helped.

It's been going strong pushing one Kicker Comp 12" subwoofer for a couple of months now. Never had any problems. The crossover goes from 50hz to 500hz and I believe the bass boost is to 45hz. I wired it with the Boss 8 gauge kit from Amazon, and it works fine, but if you have the money install it with a better amp kit.
