Mad Professor at his best,

This is a real gem and album that must be on your hit list. The superb sounds on this vibe is magic. Back in the 70's when a house party was in session you could here dub like this. Make a cup of tea, sit back, relax and enjoy.

MAD PROFESSOR IS GREATEST REGGAE,

I just plain love Mad Professor as a mixer. It always feels so good as it "returns to reggae" in a party mix. I don't like all reggae, but I love most of Mad Professor.

A Dub Classic,

The beauty of this album is that is doesn't matter which musical context your're coming from - there is something in here for you. Put simply this album is great. For the newcomer, this album provides an early '80s ansector to the current drum n bass material. For others, the tension and resolution created by the remixing of instrumental tracks - fading in and out at interesting harmonic and structural points - and the in your face reverb and delay creates a sensation of anticipation and surprise that one often experiences listening to jazz. Finally, there is some humour in the way the tunes are remixed. Get it, sit back, and enjoy.

Overwrought,

This album is far from classic. The delays, phases etc are not used with any degree of subtelty, but worst of all, the musicians which layed down the tracks were not on the vibe. I don't know yet, but having listened to the Scientist's early 80's releases, I've a feeling that the vibe was dead by this time. I guess this album is alright if you are seventeen and you get off on grating sounds when you're stoned. Not for the serious listener.
