These are really well-made gloves. They are comfortable and great for working in situations where hands are protected. I tried dish gloves, another type of heavy duty gloves that I purchased at Home Depot. But they do do not measure up to these. They can be used for many things. I give them 2 thumbs up.

DU BARRY GLOVES
Within 8 Xs wearing they have stretched to fit. Talcum or Baby powder helps them slip-on. Sprinkle a dash-powder in gloves and slap to spread.
When done always wash of with dish or hand soap. Store pinned to hanger (gaping open, fingers pointing down.)
The relatively snug fit, the flexibility, the ribbed surfaces, the coverage at my wrist, the rolled firm opening, make them ideal for:
Harvesting and dipping vegetables in 1: 1 :: vinegar : water.
And the rest of handling vegetables.
Spot hand-washing stubborn clothes stains.
House and car window washing.
Acid washing the occasional item.
Applying Round-up

I NEVER USE THEM FOR: OIL BASED PRCUDCTS, HOT APPLICATIONS, GRASPING YARD OR WORKSHOP TOOLS.

These gloves were used for washing dishes using normal dishwashing soap. If the gloves touched each other while drying they would get holes in them. We tried everything to keep this from happening. Very disappointed. We have found extra large Playtex gloves to be a much better at less cost.

These are barely any thicker than supermarket dish washing gloves and they are very small for the indicated size. Pass them by. Where oh where are Bluettes?
