Chill Dub on the Laid Back Tip, September 16, 2005

I bought this album in Amsterdam at a cool record shop. It came HIGHLY recommended by the Rastafarian employee there. I also bought Prince Fari which is nice too. If you like a super ambient type dub with few lyrics than you will like this. I guess The Royals are really well respected in the Dub community. This I learned from the dude in Amsterdam. Anyway, cool organ with heavy reverb and waaaa on the guitar. Nice to listen to on a long plane ride if you want to sleep, or for a wake and bake kind of day. Also well received by the 65+ community at a summer bar-b-q as background music. I don't know, they liked it, I just played what I wanted to hear. Just mix a fruity cocktail, roll one and hit the beach with your Royals album in the mix and gaze at the waves and the sun. Even nice with the top down on a drive. Seems like good weekend music. Just happy and positive but super laid back. Who is not a fan of that?
