I recently purchased the Dublin Synthetic Easy Care Adult Half Chaps (in black, but they also come in brown, and fun colors purple and fuschia)and I have found them to be well-made, and a good value for a student or occasional rider who doesn't have a lot of money to spend on equipment, but does want the lower-leg protection a pair of half-chaps will provide. I often wear thick jeans when I ride and find the half-chaps keep my jeans from bunching up and catching on the stirrup leathers and saddle. These half-chaps have sturdy stitching and zippers, and are machine washable. The backs of the chaps are elasticized, so should accomodate those with larger calves comfortably. Although not as essential as a helmet and sturdy riding shoes or boots, half-chaps are nice to have. Highly recommended!

After months of use these chaps are doing great. Good value for the money. They also breathe well which is great for hot weather riding. Glad I bought them.

I typically ride in tall boots, however I needed something with a little more elasticity in the calf. These chaps are perfect. They still provide great support of my leg while riding. Plus they are so easy to clean. I just brush them off when I'm done. They are machine washable, though I haven't had to wash them yet. I'm happy with them!

These half-chaps are comfortable, airy, and durable. I have had many inquiries in the barn about them. I send everyone to Amazon to find them.

Wow. Basically all I can say. I've been riding for more than a year now and I haven't ever used chaps. That's why all I can say is wow. They made riding this weekend so much easier. I actually stuck to the horse! I am quite content with this product, and my only complaint would be that it's not as easy to stick to the ponies as it is to the horses. Still, though, it is a great product and I highly recommend it whether you just ride for trails or are constantly on horseback. ((A note... The sizing charts are weird, so to give you an estimate, I'm about 5'3" and the size Large fit me, maybe slightly big.))

I just got these chaps last week(excellent shipping, they were three days ahead of the expected delivery!) and was impressed from the moment I got them. The suede is not cheap, like the kind you find on ankle boots at Wal-Mart. The sides are elastic and fit my calf perfectly! They fit perfect over my new boots. When I first rode with them, I was in the field and they got caked with mud. I'm talking an inch-and-a-half-coating. But, with a hose and a towel, I got almost ALL of it off! These chaps are great quality for their price, and are so worth it.

These are wonderful chaps - great for everyday riding and could even be used showing/jumping, etc... Affordable and well made - I love Dublin products, mine have always lasted a lifetime!

I was switching from English to Western style. The leather/suede over-pants half-chaps I had used didn't fully protect my shin from the western saddle fenders so I bought western boots. But then the chaps didn't go over those boots. I bought this product to fit inside the boot and inside the pants to give a complete Western outfit image and it does the job beautifully. When I called the company for sizing, the customer service was both informative and well award of what to advise me. I am completely satisfied.

These chaps are really supportive. The day before i got them, i was riding this REALLY hyper horse, and he was jumping all around. Then, when i got them, he was completely calm. These chaps really angle your lower leg away from the horse. SUPER comfortable, although they didn't fit over my lined boots. Also, they get dirty pretty fast, but just dust and stuff like that. These are really good, i reccomend them to everyone!

These are great chaps. I like that they are easy to clean and easy to put in and take off. nice and tight! These are just great to everyday use in english riding. These are one of those products that needs to be a part of your attire. New to english riding buy these there not expensive and look great. They are just Great and I love these chaps!
