Carol Duboc is my favorite new jazz vocalist. I heard her song "This Is No Ordinary Love" on the radio, and I bought the new CD "Duboc". I was blown away. Her voice is so clear and sexy. The songs are incredible. Each one is different from the other. It is hard to believe that someone who looks like that can write and sing like that.

I highly recommend 'Duboc' to lovers of smooth, sophisticated and sexy female jazz vocalists. Carol's range is astonishing, and this CD wonderfully demonstrates her evolving talents and intelligent, emotional interpretation of the material. 'Duboc' places Carol firmly at the top of her genre, right up there with Sade, Anita Baker, Patti LaBelle and other better known but not necessarily more talented contemporaries. The fact that she's also an award winning composer and lyricist helps to explain her obvious understanding of the complex themes that she expresses so beautifully with her voice.

Fantabulous cd..this is my first encounter with Carol Duboc; fabulous variety of themes and rhythms..great rendition of the Burt Bacharach's oldie: " Anyone who had a heart'; Get out the brie cheese, your favorite vino and share this cd with that special someone. It is a special cd to have in your colection!

I am not normally a jazz fan, but I think that Carol's voice is so good. I like Celine Dion, but I think I might even like Carol better. I look forward to her next CD.

I love this CD. Simply put.... Carol is beautiful, and the CD is soulful and entertaining. Great songs. Finally a jazz singer who also writes her own songs giving this CD a very intimate and personal touch!!!

I really enjoyed Carol's first CD "With all that I Am" and did not think that this second CD could measure up; however, it does! Her voice is smooth and her songs just make you feel good! I hope that there are more songs to come.
