Ducane Gas Grill,

Upon receipt of my grill, I learned that I had been shipped a propane model instead of one that used natural gas. It required many phone calls, etc. before I was able to finally resolve this matter. It was only after a call to Ducane's customer service was it verified that the serial number I received was, in fact, a propane model. I had them (Ducane) send me a conversion kit which I used to convert to the product I actually ordered. It was quite a hassle.
All paperwork acompanying the original product indicated the grill was natural gas but, in fact, it wasn't. I don't know where the error was made but I know it could have been really dangerous if I had not been alert. Amazon has credited the cost of the conversion kit to my credit card account. |
