I would love to say that I was perfectly pleased with the purchase of the grill, but that would be far from the truth.

This grill is a very nice piece of equipment. The quality of the materials is excellent, but I can't attest to the performance of it, due to the reasons listed below. Read on...

The grill arrived at my home badly damaged from shipment. I immediately called Amazon Customer Service, who told me they would forward the issue to their Claims department, who would handle the claim with the shipping carrier. Then, within 24 hours, I was told that Amazon would not accept return on the grill under any circumstances, even though I had not even unpacked the unit - a fact that I was NOT informed of prior to purchase. In fact, their first solution to the problem was a suggestion that I sell the grill locally if I decided I didn't want it. WTF?!?! Sell a damaged $480 grill locally? To keep the story short, it took me 5 days and numerous calls/e-mails to finally get a refund - and still they never picked up the grill. Oh, and BTW, the page for this item (and all the other grills I have looked at here) STILL does not inform the buyer that they CANNOT return the item if it arrives damaged/broken. A coincidence? I think not. I know I would have shopped elsewhere if I had been told that all sales were final, regardless of whether it arrives intact or not...

So, if you have done your research and decided this is the grill for you, then try to procure one locally and save the hassle of buying it here, having it shipped, having it arrive damaged, dealing with Amazon Customer Service and being told that you are stuck with it.
