Book Description

November 11, 2010
Phil Aynsley has only ever owned Ducatis. Since buying his first, a 250 Desmo, in 1972 he has been a passionate devotee of the Italian marque. As a professional photographer whose work has appeared in books and magazines in Europe, the US and his native Australia he has has the opportunity to photograph a great number of Ducatis over a period of 30 years. This includes rarely seen parts of the Ducati factory to intimate views from inside the pits at many MotoGP and World Superbike rounds to inside private collections to road tests. The images in this book are his personal favorites. The photographs also come with a foreward by World Champion Troy Bayliss and words by internationally known Ducati expert Ian Gowanloch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ducati Obsession January 28, 2010
Format:Hardcover
Like the other two reviewers I have been waiting for this book since I first heard about it. The images are not just pictures of Ducati machines-they are art and deserve to be viewed in that way. As an amateur photographer I wish I had 10% of Phil's skill with lighting and camera.
This is a photographic art book-which just happens to be focussed on Ducati.
A brilliant piece of work which I am proud to own-if you love Ducati you NEED this book in your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute must January 28, 2010
Format:Hardcover
Phil Aynsley's work is absolutely outstanding... I have several original prints from him hanging on my walls and they're all truly works of art, and I've been waiting for this book since I first heard it was in the making.

This book is an ABSOLUTE MUST for any Ducati fan, it covers the whole history of the marque and each photograph is outstanding. A wonderful selection from over 30 years of shooting these great machines. Each photographs not only shows what a great photographer Phil is, but also his true passion and love for Ducati bikes.

For some, the section on the non-motorcycle Ducati products will be a wonderful surprise as well.

Buy it, you will absolutely LOVE IT!
