Our puppies ruined our dark tan leather couches by teething on them and pulling out the stuffing. I tried to hand sew them, staple them and glue them back together. Nothing worked. I got an estimate on what it would cost to repair them. The estimate was over $800.00. Finally I purchased this brown duck tape. Now I am not saying this was a professional fix, but the tape held all the tiny torn pieces together beautifully. I the took long pieces and layered them down the side and it looked very nice. The color wasn't a perfect match, but the sheen of the tape matched the luster of the leather. You don't notice the repair unless you are looking for it. This was the perfect fix for an older couch that we will be replacing in a few years. With a little effort and Duck Tape we saved about $790.00.

Just in case you were wondering about the color, it's exactly the same color as a cardboard shipping box. So, it's not too light or too dark...which is what I wanted.

For shoe bites/chafing on the heel, I cut a piece 2 x 2 square, put a bit of paper towel in the middle, dab on petroleum jelly. For the bunion, I cover it tightly.

Fleshy color ("cookie dough") doesn't show through nylons. This stuff has turned agony shoes/boots into utterly wearable all day shoes!

Excellent rating for podiatral use! I held back on the last star because you will see that this duct tape DOES NOT HOLD as well as other duct tapes.

I got my first roll of this through Amazon. It worked fine to wrap up some wires to make them inconspicuous on the ceiling. However, I noticed the same tape at Target the other day, and it's about $2 cheaper. Wal-Mart is about the same price as Amazon. So, overall, as expected from Duck brand tape, although I'd expect it to be a bit cheaper online.

I bought this to create lines for crowd control at an elementary school. It is long lasting and vibrant. We will eventually paint but this tape really makes a colorful presentation.

You can never go wrong w/ Duct tape as they say in West Virginia, whether it be airplane wings or the front fender of your pick up truck, Duct Tape is a sure bet for a quick fix. I actually purchased this to mend a tear on one of the cushions of my leather sofa. Unfortunately, the colors didn't match @ all. The couch is actually more of a red wine color, & brown didn't cut the mustard, you can totally see my attemped fix from as far away as my niebors house. No not really, but the diference is quite obvious. When I was orignally looking through Amazon's colored Duct Tape, I did find one called Merlot Mania, but it was $37, & I figured before I was gonna spend that much to fix it w/ tape, try a different color, & if that didn't work, just take it to a furniture store & get it fixed for real. But actually while this item was in the mail en route to my home, I got an e-mail notification from Amazon because they saw I was interested in Duct Tape. This notification had a bunch of different colors of tape, and Merlot Mania was one of them, it was now only the $5 or $6 that this item costed. After I got this item & saw that the colors in no way matched I ordered it & decided to try again, it hasn't arrived as of yet though. However I do have a roll of the brown, which for some reason it seems is impossible to find in any store. Retailers seem to have just about every other color.

Had the idea to make a duct tape bikini for the annual Bartender's Cup at our local ski hill. Pulled it off without a hitch. and the bikini looks great too! =)

I bought it for the color. It's a very pretty blue. Other than that, it's Duck Tape. Enough said.

There's not too much to say about this product except that it looks nice and does the job it's supposed to. I purchased the Duck Brand tape in Black or "Midnight Madness" as they call it. The duct tape is excellent and sticks well to everything I've tried applying it to. It's nice to be able to patch things up, and still have it look nice instead of the typical shiny, silver duct tape. I am happy with what I got and would definitely buy this or other Duck brand duct tapes again.

As with all duck brands tape it is AWESOME! I use the duct tape to do crafts (a good place to go for instructions is this channel: ducttapestuff on youtube). It is better for crafts than other duct tapes I have found. If you are looking for strong tape I would suggest Gorilla tape. Especially since Christmas is coming soon I would recommend this color and this brand! But this tape CAN NOT be used for ducts as the name suggests.
