5.0 out of 5 stars strongest tape there is
well, it's the strongest type of tape there is. It does what it's supposed to do, sticks stuff to things. Foam tape is usually a last resort for things that just wont stay with anything else. The only downside is that if you ever want to remove it it's a pain. But I suppose I'll just deal with it if and when that time comes. They're little tabs about the size of a...

1.0 out of 5 stars So frustrating
To be honest, I really don't know if those tabs are strong or not. The reason is simple, for the last hour and a half, I've been trying to peel the wax paper from the back of the tabs without success.

Either the tabs separate in two, or the wax separate from the paper, but it does not separate from the glue. I don't know if this is due to the store storage or...

Yeah I guess that'll do. Maybe a little smaller than the smallest stamp you can think of? Is that good? oh well, they stick, and that's what counts in the end. Use a bunch of them at a time if you'd like to feel safe about it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely low profile, strong mounting tabs, July 4, 2010

The only downside of these tabs, as some other reviews have noted, is that the backing strips can be a real pain to remove.

That's a minor downside, however, given all the other positives. These mounting tabs are very strong and should be more than sufficient, so long as you follow the weight instructions (2 lbs max, 8 tabs per lb). We've used them to hold up cables too thick or heavy to use Cable-Clip White RG6 (100 pieces per bag), smoke detectors, and anything else that's fairly light but would usually require nails. They're far stronger than double sided tape, and the profile is not a whole lot thicker.

I used this to hang matted photos on the wall - and for once, they stay put! I've tried everything, from putty, to double sided tape, and this is the only product that keeps the photos from slowly falling down after a few days or weeks...owever, it does leave residue on the wall that can be difficult to remove.

Either the tabs separate in two, or the wax separate from the paper, but it does not separate from the glue. I don't know if this is due to the store storage or transport temperature or whatever, but this is the first time in my life that I swear at an object and trow it in the garbage screaming at it, that's how bad those tabs got on my nerves.

Scotch tape did the job of holding my sign in 15 seconds. And it cost 1/10 the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Strong tape that does the job, February 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This tape is very strong and will hold a decent amount of weight. It does the job just fine. I cant think of anything that would improve the product. This product was cheaper then other brands and I feel that it works just the same.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well!, April 16, 2010

They work well on mounting things on the walls (alphabet charts, posters, etc.), but I was a little shocked that my 11 month old was able to pull of a cord I had mounted! For paper I haven't found anything that works better (even though they do leave a residue). When you try to remove or reposition them, the adhesive stays stuck to the surface. It removes fairly easily with an adhesive remover, but I had to scrub really hard.

These are nice multipurpose sticky tabs.
I did have difficulty getting both sides of the wax paper covering off.

5.0 out of 5 stars babyproofing must have, December 14, 2008

We used these to secure adjustable bookshelves that my one year old son was pulling out. They were easy to apply and hold up to his very very strong pulling.

1.0 out of 5 stars No good, December 30, 2009

I must have gotten a different product than the other reviewers. Mine were really awful. The waxy paper which you are supposed to be able to pull easily off before you stick the product to whatever you do want it to stick to, does not come off. I have nails, and am usually good with this detail stuff, I have a lot of practice with stickers (artsy girl with sticker book) also I am the designated sticker-remover, I can get under the edge of almost any sticker and pull it off without damaging the sticker, or what it had been stuck too. These, I was tearing apart. Neither side of the backing would give even a little. I wonder if they accidentally stuck it the wrong way on my package. After a really long time of tearing at every side, and pulling them apart I tried to stick a phone cord box to the wall (it had been screwed there, but was loose, and I wanted it tight against the wall, and to be there permanently.) Well, I surrounded the outer edge of the small plastic box with these tabs, and stuck it to the wall. I have to push it back against the wall every other day, it is in an out-of the way corner, and is never touched, but still falls off, there is no sticking power. They are the worst sticky tabs I have ever attempted to use.

4.0 out of 5 stars sticky, February 14, 2012

I used this to stick some vinyl strips to some rocking chair runners so it's nice and quiet on a hardwood floor. It's held up quite well so far.
