Product Description

Whether you like it or not, Dick Cheney is our president. Whoops, we mean vice president. Now, just in time for hunting season, here’s an indispensable guide fully loaded with tips for surviving these tortuous Cheney years, including

• 6 actions to take if you think someone is spying on you
• 4 recipes for cooking quail
• 4 public relations steps to take if you’ve shot someone
• 9 things Halliburton is under investigation for
• 6 ways to impeach a vice president
• 7 things to do if your children exhibit Cheney-like behavior (other than send them hunting with the vice president)
• 9 ways to profit financially from Cheney

So take heart that we’re in the last throes, if you will, of the Cheney reign. Remember, the best kind of leader by far is a lame duck!

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy This Book and Run for Cover, April 9, 2006
By Sally Clarke (Massachusetts) - See all my reviews
A great gift book for, well, anyone who's ever had a vice president. Funny, clever and not too nasty, you'll laugh, roll your eyeballs, and reach for your flak jacket. This book may just realize the impossible and finally unite the Republicans and Democrats in common cause--and take guns away from Dicks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny but Sadly True, June 27, 2006
Although this book wraps a comedic cover on some of the topics it brings up, it brings up serious problems with the U.S. Government. I found it valuable because I learned a lot of damaging info about Mr. Cheney and hadn't even after doing a huge amound of research on the U.S. Government (for my hopefully soon to be published book on the U.S. Gov.)

I wouldn't recommend this book as a present for someone unless they are into politics or already know who Mr. Cheney is. It's not a good place to start for learning about the U.S. government either (and yes I know that wasn't the purpose of this book.)

4.0 out of 5 stars Info & Laughs, April 13, 2006
By Robert R. Solo "OD" (San Francisco, CA) - See all my reviews
I just read it - a great travel read. Like its companion book, THE BUSH SURVIVAL BIBLE, has good info for those who want to contemplate our current national predicament, and lots of laughs for those who just need some comic relief.

Gene Stone's book about Dick Cheney is so funny it is ALMOST worth having Cheney in office for the sheer pleasure of laughing so hard. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Bull's-eye!
Stone takes aim with his stinging humor, and hits the mark. Let's hope that Cheney follows Whittington's lead and apologizes to Stone!

2.0 out of 5 stars Lame!
"Duck" is a weak attempt at humor/political satire. One would do considerably better to instead watch "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny stuff!
You don't have to be anti-Bush or pro-Kerry or Cheney-paranoid or Clinton-comforted for this one to crack you up. Quick read, good rhythm, like a well-paced stage show. Read more
