With about 100 new recipes ranging from appetizers to soups and stews to main courses and even sausages and jerkies, this is the most comprehensive wild duck and goose cookbook I've ever seen. It's summertime, so I tried the Barbecued Goose with Cumberland Sauce Recipe on page 46--and boy was it delicious! My wife and kids even loved it, and they're usually not very big on wild game. But best of all, the recipe was really easy to make. In fact, looking over the book, all the recipes seem simple and straight forward...no hard to find ingredients or hard to follow preparation methods. The author really knows her stuff, and I, for one, am very grateful she is sharing it with us. I can hardly wait for the fall hunting season to come!

I have had this book for years and every recipe I have made has been nothing shy of excellent. I regularly make the breakfast and Italian sausages, the 10-minute teal is one of my favorites. My 18-month old son eats up the ducks and geese, and my wife has even warmed up to several recipes. There are also great instructions on dressing and preserving birds.

This book should be on every serious watefowler's shelf.
